What is InnerDinner?

InnerDinner connects people who know how to cook with those who are looking for their next meal. These connections are made using a Host/Guest approach.

Hosts - Being a Host means that you will open your dinning room and your kitchen to your guests. You can cook for your guests or you can ask them to cook for you. If you are the cook, you can ask them to bring the wine, the dessert or board games to play after the dinner.

Guests - As a Guest, you will join a dinner somewhere in this world. This means that you must be a good person and respect other people's houses. You can attend the dinner just to eat and have fun or you can be asked to cook.

In sum, InnerDinner is all about connecting people through dinners and gastronomical experiences in random places, with random people.

For who?

InnerDinner was created for those who really like to meet new people and share experiences around a dining table.

InnerDinner can be used by:

- People looking for free or very cheap meals

- People living in a new city and trying to make some friends (mainly students and first-job)

- Travellers who want to get in touch with new cultures and new dishes (and save some money)

- Those who don't have time to cook

- Those who want to get paid to cook

- Roommates who want to meet other roommates

- Professionals who want to network

- Open-minded families

- Anyone looking for a nice dinner

How did it start?

InnerDinner was born out of two real-life situations experienced by a group of roommates:

1 - After preparing a nice dinner, two of us thought that it would be nice to invite some friends to dine with us. Unfortunatelly, it was August and our friends were on vacation and we couldn't contact any of them. We ended up having dinner alone and that's when the InnerDinner idea came up: "If we had a service where we could invite random people to have dinner with us, we could be here sharing this nice meal and having lots of fun!"

2 - After one of those hard days at work we were not really enthusiastic about the idea of cooking our own dinner and that's when we thought: "It would be awesome if we could invite random people to cook for us! We could even pay them...!".

And that's it, InnerDinner was born.

What about the restaurants?

Is InnerDinner against restaurants? Of course not! Any Restaurant can be a Host at InnerDinner and invite people to have dinner. They just need to offer them good food and affordable prices!
